This is a new Panda Express location in the Oak Grove Shopping center. Everything at this location is very clean and well maintained. The Service here is always really fast and friendly. I specifically like the service provided by the counter employee named Bridgett, she is extra friendly and courteous and always makes me feel welcome, I've been going back because of her five star service.

Extremely slow service and often out of food. Prefer the Oregon City location

I can't believe I'm reviewing a Panda Express. a new low for me, perhaps it says something of Milwaukie. I've tried the local competition of Chinese-American fare in the area, Wongs garden, Imperial Garden, HongKong 97. I can describe them simply disappointing and somewhat appalling. Oh gosh, I looked that Panda Buffet spread and promptly ran out the door. And in comparison, at least I can see the food first at the Panda, the chowmein was actually regular noodles, not weird cracker things. Kungpao was spicy, and not sweet. And if they are low of something, they will cook up a fresh batch. Hey this is a key tip my friends. Just ask for fresh food if it looks old. they can do it rather quickly. 2nd tip, always get it to go, because the containers have more room than the plates. 3rd tip, some items carry a premium cost, avoid these as they are over priced, eh, except the angus steak and asparagus, I actually find it quite tasty. So in conclusion, Panda Express is not appalling or disappointing. and I'd go back when I haven't the energy to drive out to the 82 and division.

Seriously disappointed by this Panda Express. While I have had great service at times, it seems to be hit or miss, and most disappointing is that the orange chicken is always extremely dry and crusty looking - major lack of delicious orange glaze. I mean, what's the point then?! Gross. Might as well go to the Safeway in the same parking lot for better "Chinese food".

SCREW THIS PANDA!!!! I JUST had the worst experience here and sadly it has tainted my view on this place entirely. I work right across the parking lot and where I work we aren't allowed to leave the store unattended, duh. I have ordered panda and the cute little blonde brings my food across the parking lot and I've done this about 4 times. Today I was running late to work and didnt have time to stop and get something or pack a lunch. I called and got a very angry asian man who YELLED and GRUNTED at me on the phone and said "We can't" which I heard as "We can" due to his accent, I proceeded to order my food and then he started shouting "NO! NO! NO!" into the phone at me and said "CANT CANT CANT!" I asked to speak the the blonde girl manager and he informed me she wasnt there today, he kept asking where I worked and I would tell him and then he would ask if it were some place else when I had already told him like 12 times. Now I am starving, and pissed. Thanks, Panda.

This location is good for a Panda Express. It's a newer location and has updated decor serving dishes. I did notice that there were a few dishes (broccoli beef, the current steak entree) that looked as though they had been sitting there for a while. I asked about it, and the girl said it had only been there a few minutes. Hard to believe. She was helpful also, picking out the onions in the string bean chicken breast before putting it on my plate. My order was rung up currently. However, she forgot to ring up my boyfriend's food, thus creating a somewhat awkward situation for herself and us. I ended up ordering the broccoli beef, which was a mistake. It was cold shortly after I sat down, and it tasted off. Overall, however, I would prefer this Panda location to many others I have visited.

Slow lines let's see about the food. ... Its glorified mall food. It was luke warm and bland. The sign says "no MSG added" I think the key word is "added" Most all of the food dishes were empty or very close to empty. Service here is kinda strange the server doesn't make any eye contact and makes grunting noises to communicate. No joke. The restaurant was cold and messy. Stuff scattered on the ground everywhere. I'll skip this place next time.

Not very filling for what they charge. How expensive are rice and noodles? Only about a tablespoon or two of the main dish. Gals serving seem a bit confused with the product. Food was warm but, chicken/mushroom dish had a burnt taste. The ingredients seemed to be fine. And like all McDonald's owned chains, if you want soy sauce or any condiment, it will not be offered unless you ask. I wonder if that is a bonus incentive? Or is it just laziness and stupidity? Probably, the latter. Have you ever been to a Mickey D's and they didn't act stunned or put out if you ask for ketchup with your fries? Not often I bet. Especially at the drive-thru. Who ever heard of such a concept? Ketchup on fries? How esoteric! Is it coming out of your salary? In my humble opinion, this place is a bit of a joke. Sorry. How hungry do you have to be to go here with so many other options? Unless time is a factor. Or this is your first time in a Chinese restaurant? And you're 5 years old! It would be a lot more reasonable if the price was two dollars less per dish. Just corporate greed. It certainly isn't about the labor cost.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
